IndicatorSmith vs a typical charting subscription.

Compared on the things that decide whether you still own your workflow in three years: ownership, where your scripts live, data, alerts, platform support, and whether the assistant can actually do the work or only talk about it. We do not quote other vendors' prices or ratings, and individual platforms differ.

FAQ

Comparison questions.

Can I keep my current charting platform alongside IndicatorSmith?
Yes. Convert the scripts you rely on, run your analysis locally, and keep or drop the other platform as you see fit.
What will not come across when I switch?
Protected and invite-only scripts you did not write have no exportable source, so nothing can convert them. Layouts and watchlists from another platform are not in a published format, so you rebuild the ones you use once.
Does IndicatorSmith include market data?
No — by design. Data comes from your own exchange or broker keys (read-only), the free Yahoo Finance daily feed, or CSV. That is why there is no data fee and no server holding your symbols and watchlists.
Can I buy today?
No. IndicatorSmith is not on sale yet. Join early access and we write to you before sales open.
